Many seafood restaurants in one - sushi, modern American, and "baked-broiled-fried" Not highly imaginitive but prepared exactly to order and food came out fast as we had limited time. Relatively low markup on wines is a plus. Recommend - wild (not farmed) salmon, Chilean sea bass, pow pow shrimp (if you're partial to sweet and sticky). Wish I could describe more food options, but everyone at the table seemed to order the same thing.
The fresh chilean seabass over a bed of steaming hot rice hong kong style is delightful as is the swift and attentive service. The casual and authentic ambiance is also a plus. Feels like being in a fish market without the smell!
Very basic, but very good seafood. Several choices and cooked how you like it. Great blackended mahi. Super garlic roasted oysters as an appetizer.
FOOD: Sushi was best I've ever had, Crab Cake was second best I've ever had, Salmon Hong Style: Salmon was cooked to perfection, sauce was ok but WAY too sweet, Creme bru Le was worst I've ever had, should have told us it was not vanilla but banana flavored.
ATMOPHERE: Very comfortable and interesting.
Would definitely go again as the FISH WAS OUTSTANDING!
Good for a neighborhood fish restaurant but definitely not sophisticated or good enough for special occaisions. Imagine SF's Fisherman's Wharf seafood restaurants bustling with tourists in T's and shorts, eating "fresh" seafood just off the delivery truck and you will get this place.
