Ordered 3 dishes. Oysters were ok, horseradish sauce was tame. Lobster ravioli was very good. Scallops over cooked. Given it's rating disappointing food. Ambience was good.
Stop with the "tourist trap" put-down already, folks. Yes, the restaurant is geared to out-of-towners, as most good ones are. It's not cheap, but I ate well. The room is noisy, if that matters. My chief criticism of the place centers on the patronizing, pseudo-friendliness of the servers. Please, quit the "Good choice, sir!" and "Well done!" Let me make the judgments here, and don't take me for a fool. Otherwise, to the chef: "Well done, sir."
Busy and noisy but the food is worth it. Great seafood. Reservations are a must. Best chowder in Boston!
The dish that i think is the highlight is the calamari (much better grilled). Everything is great!!! Best grilled scallops eva!
The decor and service was good, but the food makes this restaurant a worthwhile stop. While i'm usually a steak eater, this makes me want to try different seafood.
