For four years now, my wife and I have been going to the Atwood as an anniversary treat. Last week's experience was the best yet. Our server (Beth Morrissey) went well above and beyond to make our date special and unforgettable.

Cozy lounge-like space with furniture that is comfortable to sit on, but awkward to eat on. Good if not terribly original American fare.

Tucked away in the historic Burnham Hotel, the Atwood Cafe offers comfy tables and banquets and the convenience of being in the center of the theater district. Arrive early and enjoy a drink at the bar. Your waiter will shower you with the utmost of care and service.The food is beyond compare, using local meats & seafood. Save room for desert, there is always something to suprise.

A really good option for lunch/dinner at the loop. The room is gorgeous and the building is a historic landmark. Well prepared local/organic food and attentive service.
