One of my favorite places in Chicago. Casual atmosphere with fresh and inventive dishes. Always consistently great. Excellent wine selections.
Minimal decor in wood, cosy atmosphere, bar table, this is a good place for casual dining. Food is sometimes hit and miss. We had the salad which is freshly made but the pork shoulder is too salty. Friendly service.
Inattentive service tainted an overall pleasant experience. While the food was good overall, a pasta dish with duck confit was shockingly salty. I hope the service was an anomaly and I'm fairly certain the salty dish was. Looking forward to returning soon.
No problem getting seated without planning ahead with crowds. Food selection, presentation, and taste was excellent. Service was very good with staff being pleasant, asking questions beyond the food and offering suggestions. It did take a bit of time to get my order taken, but otherwise it was a great experience overall.
