Peruvian Cuisine, i have been intrigued for so long about this type of cuisine, this restaurant has had the best reviews in this category: "PERUVIAN". The place is cozy, romantic you might say, the walls have painted murals of the Nazca lines (ancient civilization draw lines on the ground, can only be seeing from an airplane). We had a few traditional Andean dishes,(tamale, papa rellena) it was delicious! service is great, portions are big, BYOB

  • I love trying new dishes, for some people Humitas might not be so exotic, but it is!! I had it tonight! at AY AY PICANTE PERUVIAN PLACE, let me tell you it was goood!! At first i was confuse with the 2 flavors:
1.- Sweet humitas, made with real corn,Cinnamon, raisins.
2.- Salty humitas, made with real corn, chicken, etc. etc.
which is the best?, t i love the smell of Cinnamon, graciously wrapped in corn husks...Prices? very cheap, LV- BYOB

  • Meat is what calls my attention, it has to be just right (medium rare) and still with a lot of flavors; well i stopped by this Peruvian place anew days ago. The waiters greeted me right away, brought to the table the "ay ay picante sauce" (creamy and very HOT!) with some bread while i waited for my food. I had the fillet mignon dish, I was very Happy with my meal!!! tender, juicy, steamy and provocative..hmm. Great service, outstanding meal.

  • A wonderful ethnic experience. Ay AY Picante Peruvian Cuisine has a very extensive menu, and i learned that this cuisine has been influence by many cultures like Japan, Italian, Korea, Spain...etc, i love their ceviche which is , seafood marinaded in lime juices served with corn, sweet potatoes and lettuce, i love coming back not only because of the food but also the service, waiter are very attentive and charming. WONDERFUL PERUVIAN EXPERIENCE.
