Fun vibe, fresh ingredients, diverse menu, but agree prices are a bit out of whack.
The food is always good, been going here for years BUT the rapidly increasing prices are just ridiculous. Sorry, I have no issue spending money on a meal, whatsoever, but I just don't think that a $26 omelet is okay or really worth it. Plus, the service is always disappointing.
Delicious offerings, very health conscious for me and my children. The service, however, during busy times (Saturday brunch in Hamptons off-season) was just passable. I waited for a table outside, patiently with small children, only to be seated next to a smaller, sticky, metal table next to what appeared to be a utility room door virtually in the parking lot. For the high prices on their menu, I expect better. Unimpressed.
This popular, casual restaurant has a fantastic brunch. We loved the organic, health conscious food. Everything was divine. The service is fine.
Just because... just because Babette's is on Newtown Lane doesn't mean you have to charge an arm and a leg for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Just because everyone here has had plastic surgery doesn't mean you have to charge an arm and a leg. BUT, I eat here just because the food is organic, just because I spot celebrities here and just because the food is good.
