This is students so leave plenty of time, service can be spotty, they are literally learning on your dime. Bread has always been rather bad here, clearly the baking class needs to be augmented.

A gem hidden in the loop around the corner from the theater and symphony. The training grounds for the Culinary program of the Illinois Institute of Art, senior-year students work in the restaurant their capstone year. Five-star quality food and service at three-star prices. Check their website, as hours vary with the school year. An added bonus, watch the main kitchens through large windows.
