The only thing wrong here is the smell of tires from Town Fair Tire next door (bowls for the salsa bar would be nice, too). The Carnitas burrito was a standout, and the whole experience worth the extra trip to avoid the pseudo Mexican/Southwestern chains (I'm looking at you, Chipotle) that abound on suburban strips like this. Funny that you can see a Chuckie Cheese across the street...
There may be disagreements on how "authentic" Baja is but I keep going back for flavors I don't get at other Mexican restaurants that seem to all taste the same and are without dispute not authentic. I like that I can choose what sauce sauce I want on my chilli relleno and the numerous salsas available to dip my chips in.
This place is by far the best mexican restaurant you can go to without going to mexico!!! the food is great, the salsa bar is perfect if you like spicy or if you could do without and the food comes out lightening quick! not to mention the margaritas totally hit the spot! and be sure to order banana flautas when you get there - they take a while to cook but are worth all the calories!
The food is authentic Mexican right down to the "build your own salsa" bar. It seems like a hole in the wall but once you taste the food, you forget all about your surroundings. Service was lacking but not horrible.
Awesome food, very different from most in the area. Salsa bar was a little weird but good. Great margaritas!! A new favorite.
