I have been to Bar americain in NYC. this was awful. The food was salty. The meat was order mediuim and it was served rare. The onion tart was greasy. The resturant was empty no excuse for the food to be so bad. I would never go back
Amazing service. Foods was unbelievable. I had the NY strip steak was cooked to a beautiful medium. My girlfriend had the buttermilk fried chicken which was so crispy outside and juicy inside. Place was amazing. Just pricey.
THE PLACE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL BUT IF YOU ARE USED TO GOOD RESTAURANTS DOWN IN FAIRFIELD COUNTY, THIS WAS JUST OK. I EXPECTED MORE FROM BOBBY FLAY.
MY PORK CHOP WAS NOTHING SPECIAL AND A BIT TOUGH AND THE GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE NEEDED MORE ICING BETWEEN THE DRY LAYERS.
ALL IN ALL NOT UP TO EXPECTATIONS.
Warm, dark interior kept separate from the casino floor. Friendly enough staff, though they lost interest in us towards the end of the meal. Excellent onion soup. Had the fried chicken, which was well-prepared but all the additional flavors (honey, lime, seasoning) made it hard to actually taste the chicken. Steak is good but doesn't match a good steak house. Too many parts of the dishes were spicy, and I like spicy. Good, but not great.
Slick, warm, inviting decor with very good food. You must try the Duck.
