I do not understand the 28 for food. It was ok. yet a little excessive in price. If in the area again I would check out other places. I had extremely high expectations based on the numbers. Left slightly let down.

I enjoyed so much The Union League Cafe that I had to try this restaurant from the same owner, Chez Jean Pierre Vuillermet , I keep coming back to this restaurants because of their chicken specially, but everything is just simple, well prepared, fresh and so so good. Totally a recommendation in a nice ambience.

If you like your service snotty with a heap of attitude. Then this is your place. If you like to be ignored and wait an outrageously long time for your entrees to hit the table. This is definetly your place! A long wait for just "okay" food. No thank you.
I was disappointed. Everyone is always saying how difficult it is to secure a reservation to this place. Well sure it is the place is tiny, looked like it only had maybe 25 seats.Published April 22, 2012 -
My first experience here was a birthday dinner and what an excellent choice I made! Having eaten in a number of different French restaurants both here & in Paris, this was by far one of the best French dining experiences I have had. The food was excellent, the service friendly & impeccable (even the chef came to our table and chatted for quite some time), & the atmosphere was comfortable & authentic. It is our new "go-to" French restaurant in CT
