The pizza is great here.We used to go here because we didn't want to wait in line at Pepe's,but now the wait is just as long here!

Their white, mashed potato and bacon pie is to die for. However, the last several times we've gone they have been way over cooking them making the pie tough and burning them slightly affecting the taste. Even though we've asked to have them to cook'em lightly they still come way too done.

I was blown away by the pizza at BAR. Everyone raves about pepes and modern but neither compare to that of BAR. I'm not a fan of thin crust pizza by any means but I would eat it here every day. Plus it has a great micro brewery atmosphere, enjoy.

BAR holds its own among the stars of the pizza universe in New Haven. The Mashed Potato pie is unique and delicious, especially topped with extra garlic and bacon. Skip the only non-pizza offering, the too-sweet salad with burned pecans.

The pizza here is great and very different. A great place to hang out on a Friday night.
