I found it ok, although I had read about it being in a best pizza in Chicago list, I cant see how. Pizza was fair. Two appetizer (olives and eggplant) were quite good.
I thought wine list was poor.
The waiter we had was very attentive.
Found it expensive as I went only with my 14 year old son, had two appetizers, two pizzas, 2 glasses of wine, one beer and soda and it was US $ 100.
Not bad, but I doubt I would go back.
I don't get the hate - I liked the food BT a lot. Our "Cristina" salad, the trio of mozzarellas, the charred carrots, and the sicilian pizza all worked for me. The mainly Italian wine list is nothing special. Sat at the bar about 730 PM on a Monday night, not too crowded. Our service was terrible at the bar, took forever to order, then 4 dishes came all at once. Still, BT is great food at a good value, I liked it better than, say, Balena.
I have to agree with the previous reviewer...I MISS Bistro 110. Aw, the roasted chicken and vegetables, steak au poivre, the garlic spread...
Nice after-work or pre-theater spot.
Do not miss the bread pudding.
We miss Bistrot 110! Need we say more? What a mistake that Levy closed down a top restaurant & open a less than wonderful new concept. The room in ugly...with a really weird looking white pizza oven in the middle of what was a beautiful dining room. Looks like a space ship that landed in the wrong place. Food awful....wine terrible. Service young & inexperienced. Touristy. Not worth trying!!!
