An absolutely awesome experience. You really must make it down to this place. Great food, great atmosphere!
This place has very little to do with what Spain is like or what the food tastes like. Crochetas with spaghetti sauce, huh? Flan that was a pudding consistency and would have been better had they used a powder out of the box. "Chorizo" that was a kielbasa in barbecue sauce? Going to this place is like going to Outback Stake House and expecting to be in Australia. Very disappointed and very bad.
Decor was very nice. Service was excellent. The menu is very extensive. Flavors not what we experienced in Spain and was a bit disappointing. I recommend you try it then decide for yourself.
A sleek, sexy, subterranean dining room off Commonwealth Avenue dishes up some superb (and strong) sangria and tapas with flair, including an out-of-this-world rabbit in blueberry-cream sauce plate. There's a prime-for-post-work-drinks bar area where the beautiful people hang out, and flamenco music if you're lucky. Truly some of Boston proper's best tapas.
Great atmosphere, especially during live flamenco shows. I thought I was in Sevilla until they served bread with no olive oil in sight.
