“wanta-be upscale” restaurant that does a pretty good job. Simple and tasteful décor, small & somewhat cramped dining room with friendly service. A good choice for people living in the Montrose area who don’t want to drive a long distance for a “fine dining” experience. However, I think for those willing to drive into Pasadena, there are several other very competitive choices to consider.
Loved it - It's like going to a small neighborhood version of Providence. Wonderfully diverse flavors and impeccable service. We loved the tasting menu!
The food was very good, but not excellent, on a recent visit, and the service was slow; for the money you could do better. Somewhat cramped quarters, especially when full.
Incredibly good food in a warm, cozy and stylish atmosphere. A great date place.
Fantastic food. We tried the tasting menu and there was a nice selection of 3 to 4 appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The pork belly appetizer melts in your mouth and has amazing flavor. Salmon was fresh and perfectly cooked. Delicious steak was served with a generous portion of chanterelle mushrooms and other goodies. Wine pairing is not great.
