Lunch here is amazing, and you generally can get in with no reservation. If you want dinner- make a reservation. We've been turned away without one. Dinner menu is very good, but not a 28 good. Maybe a 23/24. A bit overpriced for a 24.
Food was delicious! Their fish specials were fresh, light and yummy! Do watch out for the 'no prices' app menu. $20/per is steep, especially for a tiny appetizer. We would definitely return, but probably on a weeknight. Place was busy on Friday night, with a large table right behind us, causing their waitress to accidentally hit my head passing a menu, and the legs of my chair were knocked into a few times during the meal.
I went here for the first time with my friends to celebrate my bday, and I absolutely love this place!! The food is perfection (beyond delicious). Expansive menu with a variety of interesting dishes. Portions are appropriate and the BYOB is a definite plus. You SAVE money on alcohol with a BYOB rest, as you don't pay for the ridicuous mark-up on the wine. There was no charge for "extra bread" as previous review stated. Great service. Must try!
3rd time here and food was excellent. BYOB but cork fee is $10 which isn't a problem. No decanters and they never poor a drop. Water was warm but the have cold bottled water. Waiter never once ask if he could get us Anything or if the food was ok. Deserts are very small and pricey. They serve 3 pieces of bread after that they charge. Walked in the door and the staff greeting was rude. Pricing of food is high but food excellent, server very poor and dessert over priced.
I feel like this place is a well kept secret. The food is excellent. I would recommend just getting a lot of appetizers and try a little if everything. The mozzarella wrapped bacon with apricot mustard was amazing. The gnocchi in a mushroom sauce is a must. It is a little pricey and the outside of he building looks pretty bad but once inside and you are transported to SoHo.
