My wife and I walked into an empty restaurant and were walked to the furthest table in the rear (next to the rest rooms). When we asked to be seated in a booth closer to humanity, the staff got an attack of bad attitude.
We ordered from a waitress who would have rather been working elsewhere. It took so long to get our two salads out of the kitchen that we had to leave due to other pressing engagements. Will not go back!Published May 8, 2012 -

Food is mediocre on a good day and definitely inconsistent. You'll often get something different than the way it was described on the menu. Service is spotty. Nice atmosphere though...lively bar and quiet dining room in pleasing cottage decor. Good nachos.

The menu and decor have changed, but this venue still draws the crowds for American favorites.
