I agree with Ynsaft..especially regarding the service and atmosphere. It is a nice homey Jewish Deli.
When I visit, I always end up here with my opinionated Jewish mother. We always split a delicious corned beef sandwich and an order of sweet potato fries, which are very exotic and yummie to her. They're happy to split the orders and manage to please an authentic Jewish mom every time. There's even some off street parking available.
Somewhat hidden Kosher deli always delivers high quality Jewish deli food in a nice, casual restaurant. Excellent matzo ball soup, knishes and a hot pastrami on delicious rye bread sandwich pull in locals from all around the area. Service is slow but earnest and will remind you of being back at home. Prices are some what high for a Long Island deli, but it is the best in the county and worth it.
