Excellent Nouveau French restaurant in an old inn. Lovely setting, comfortable and attractive. Good service. A more casual and less expensive bistro is upstairs.
Superb, interesting food well prepared and well presented. The room is understated elegent, very conversation friendly. Wait staff is efficient and attentive. Overal a fine dining experience, comperable to the best in NYC.
My new favorite restaurant. Food is consistently excellent, service inviting and competent, ambiance more formal yet comfortable. We love the tasting menus. Sarah's Winebar is also wonderful.
Plan to head upstairs and try Sarah's (Bernard's wife) Wine Bar. Bernard's answer to the popular bistro's that compete for the dining dollar in Ridgefield. the scene is casual and convivial. the menu top-notch. Less sticker shock, but not that much less than downstairs. there is a small bar if you have to wait. live entertainment on weekends. you can order off the downstairs menu or winelist if you prefer. local artists' work's line the walls.
If you are looking for an upscale great restaurant, look no further, between the menu and the wine list and service and atmosphere, you can't go wrong!
