Good food, poor service. I encountered 4 workers during my visit and 3 were snotty. A little attitude adjustment would go a long way.
This gem of Big Sur has everything you need for a long drive. Baked goods are a must as is the outdoor seating where you might eat next to a native bird.
I always went for the bread, but the lunch and dinners offerings are truly wonderful. Worth the drive. Puts Ventana Inn and Post Ranch in the shade.
The food is beautifully cooked--but our party of 10 was seated at a picnic table with backless benches, although many tables were vacant. This place costs too much to be uncomfortable.
They've got a captive audience and the prices are high, but it's all so good.
