We showed up late for lunch and too early for dinner but the door was unlocked and we walked in. They seated us anyway and treated us like royalty. The food was incredible and we were the only ones in the restaurant except a few people chatting at the bar. Great service, great food and how can you beat being the only customer. What?! Can it be?! A perfect restaurant?! If not, they're pretty close to being perfect.

Avoid. Terrible service by a totally unattentive waiter. Food was only fair, and could not have a conversation in a normal conversational voice because the tables are on top of each other. Add all this to our table was by the front door and on this cold night, every time the door opened there was a blast of cold air. A very unpleasant experience.

Prix fixe lunch was a great value. Food was excellent, service great and decor very pleasing. Northport is a great little town, a modern day Mayberry! I will have to back and try dinner.

I have only had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for lunch on the patiowhich was delightful. The prix fixe selections are diverse enough with substitutions allowed. The portions were satisfying, quality of the food very good and the service was relaxed but attentive. We sat undisturbed for longer than any others there and were never rushed out. I would definitely return for lunch again.

Bistro 44 is my favorite restaurant. The food is incredibly fresh and the service is very attentive. The Ancho and brown sugar dry rubbed ribeye steak is perfectly presented grilled just right every time, and it is accompanied by a delicous potato croquet and sauteed spinich topped with gorgonzola. The wild Alaskan salmon is wonderful too. deffinately the real thing. They serve that over a bed of cous cous with roasted beets. Beautiful patio too.
