Bistro Basque is the best restaurant in Milford by a wide margin. With sleek decor and spanish pop music in the background, Bistro Basque has a Manhattan-worthy feel along with cuisine to back it up. Usually offered as a special, the Dorada fish entree with garlic & olive oil is superb. For tapas, pork lomo and artichokes are among the standouts. Recently had the Cassoulet special which was outstanding. If it's available, I strongly recommend it.

The four of us are sophisticated diners and were very pleased with our evening at Bistro Basque. Food was excellent, probably the best for miles. Highly recommend.

A charming and verbally-playful chef presides over a cozy and cheerful atmosphere with great fusion of French and Spanish cuisine, with morsels from the rest of the world.

Atmosphere is very cool with a nice vibe throughout. Intimate outdoor seating. Food was excellent. I had a seafood casserole…so fresh and perfectly prepared. Paella was outstanding too. Generous portions. Entire staff was friendly & attentive. Waiter knowledgeable and helpful in making selections. David, the owner was welcoming & interested. Great find outside of NYC located by the water in historic district. Easily one of my new favs!
