Tasty, mildly inventive comfort food for a very good value. And BYO to top it off.
nothing special
A family favorite and a remarkably affordable BYO with a little edge from the adjoining music club.
The food is amazing. The redesign and ambiance has enhanced the experience. But the service is still lack luster. They need to hire more servers and more attentive and less sassy servers.
Bite has become one of my favorite spots in the city. This execution level and quality of food typically costs $100 more at most Chicago restaurants. These guys just want to feed you some really solid cuisine at a reasonable price--the BYOB part is very helpful with keeping costs down. AS an FYI, the Bar next door does sells alcohol to diners. The best Gnocci I've had in the city. Inviting space.
