Blind dates are hard enough without horrible food. My date suggested eating here because it was close to her job. I love German food so thought it would be perfect. BUT IT WAS WASN'T. If you like sticky floors and food that tastes like cardboard then this is the perfect place. German food?????? They should be sued for false advertising. It's a dive bar with bad food. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just ate dinner there during their Octoberfest. Outstanding German fare. Many of their dishes cooked in the beer they brew. We had fall of the bone ribs to die for. Be sure to order their pretzel and a sampler of their beers... 6 little glasses of fun! Down Smith St off Rt 110. Totally worth the trip.
A secret gem hidden in the back streets of Farmingdale where they brew their own beer, and delicious beer at that! The hefe is my personal favorite and always love trying the seasonal brews. Food is outstanding especially the chicken quesadilla, yes I know it's not what you would expect but it's so fresh. Also the Munich melt and ahi tuna wrap are both amazing! My friends and I have easily closed this place numerous times over the years.
I don't understand how this place stays in business. Was on my lunch hour. Took 10 minutes before the waitress even acknowledged us. Another 8 minutes to get water. Food came out 40 minutes after we entered the place and it was cold. With this economy and so many well run establishments out there, save your time and money. Honestly, I've had a better burger at Wendy's. Oh, and the only thing German about this place is the name.
Went to this place. Ordered the chicken sandwich. Service was slow. Five hours later my ass fell out!!!! Stay away!!!!!!!!!
