service is good and has gotten better, food is good, stick with the fish - always very good, selection is limited but good. if you order anything spicy (shrimp) or Cajun style - you will have to mention to your server that you actually ordered it that way for a reason.

Food is good. Not a standout. Noisy atmosphere. Casual setting.

  • Outstanding scallops--the best I've ever had. Salad is good. Chowder is ok. This is my favorite restaurant. After sailing all day I was dehydrated. I ordered a diet coke-- it was all ice. I ordered a 2nd & asked for very little ice and still mostly ice. I was still thirsty after 4. I was charged almost $12 for mostly ice. Charge me $2.75 for a diet coke, then give me unlimited refills... not ice. They refunded me--if not I would not return

  • Service was OK, oysters were not fresh and barely legal size ( hence very small---- less then 1.5 inch), clam chowder had a moldy after taste, owner was rude...... we decided to leave and go some where else. I payed for everything we had (did not go there for any freebie), very disappointed!! Some of our friends had different experience. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!!!!!!!! EVER !!!!!

  • I like this place. Not fancy. Should have sawdust on the floor. Good, fresh seafood of all varieties. Very reliable for good meal before or after a movie down the road at the multiplexes. Best lobster roll in Connecticut.
