Feels like a garage with a bar, not too noisy, good mix of music. Service was just a tad slow, understaffed. Cocktails too complicated, wine list not interesting. Started with the blue spaghetti (a bit cartoonish but tastes great with fresh peas and morels), lobster cake, and mussels (awesome), then I too thought the hoisin duck confit dish was fantastic. Jason is a talented young chef. Blue Inc. certainly tops Sam's or Towne, I would return.
Good, interesting food (black truffle ice cream, yum!) and wine with very good service in a less than comfortable room. The funky chairs are, well, funky, but not all that pleasurable to sit in.
What a disappointment! We were seated at a high top bar table right next to the door/hostess..bad location and uncomfortable seats. Service was spotty at best - we had to flag down our waiter every step of the way. Food was just okay - caesar salad was very garlicky, short ribs were tough (definitely not fall off the bone) and the onion rings were heavily breaded and overly spiced. Moved ourselves to the Boston Harbor Hotel for dessert.
The lobster soup is to die for with truffles and amazing mushrooms etc
The duck with sticky rice was mouth watering. Another home run
