I was just in this restaurant for a nice Mother's Day dinner, and all we heard through the whole meal was the screeching of a small child. The parents should have had the sense to take this child out, but some have not the sense to do this. I have been in numerous restaurants here in Vegas where they do not tolerate this, and I really think it would behoove you if you did the same thing.
Waiter was excellent and right on top of things.
Had a casino employee tell me about this little gem. Nothing special re: the menu (topes, tacos, enchiladas etc) although they do have numerous seafood entrees. But no mistaking the freshness of the ingredients in every meal. I'd been here before & enjoyed one of the daily specials. This time around I stuck to the basics...carne asada tacos. The quality of food and the flair with which it was served elevated this place above the norm. Go!
Popular with locals. The great, authentic Mexican food is well worth leaving the Strip for. To enjoy Mexican this good you usually have to endure a two hour wait to get back across the border! Try the wonderful tableside made Guacamole.
As one of the first to arrive on a Saturday morning, we were promptly seated and provided menus. The complimentary chips were commercial grade and both salsas probably originated in a factory. We ordered the breakfast of champions, huevos rancheros, but both dishes were slightly overcooked and unremarkable as were the accompanying frijoles refritos, salad and rice.
I accidentally found this place while I was in Las Vegas for a trade show, and I'm glad I did! The service was outstanding!! I have had only one dining experience in my life with better service. The atmosphere of the place was great. The food was good, not great, but the overal dining experience was excellent!
