A reliable bistro, Brasserie Jo offers both traditional French food and innovative dishes that take their cues from France. From start to finish, the dishes are served to perfection. Outstanding specials include the cod and cassoulet. The wine choices represent some fine vintages. Don't miss the profiteroles for dessert -- order enough to share!

Traditional French Bistro menu. Nicely prepared, good service and we will likely keep this place on our boston list!

There is much better French food in Boston than the food you will find at Brasserie Jo. While my Trout entree (the daily special) was fantastic, the cheese platter and Floating Island dessert were extremely lackluster. It's a beautiful restaurant however and the atmosphere is great - but with so many other great French restaurants in Boston, I couldn't see why anyone would choose this one.

Food was OK but not terrific... I wouldn't recommend to go there if someone wants to enjoy really good French food in Boston.
