The place is lovely inside very old Hollywood. The Blue Mac and Cheese with Short Ribs was delicious! We had a problem with a seafood dish; I returned it 3 times. The staff was gracious, management comped dessert but I felt they should have comped the dish because it was dissappointing. I don't think I'll go back.

  • had lunch buffet here after reading on-line menu. don't be fooled by the bait-and-switch! one mediocre soup instead of 2 soups promised, one type of wrap vs "assorted panini", 3 pre-made salads instead of made-to-order, 3bland, indistinguishable and unmarked entrees bearing no resemblance to those on-line. food was ho-hum--yet not a bad alternative to a similarly priced-fast-food lunch. just not as advertised!

  • I went to lunch after the menu had been down graded, I thought the decor interesting, but I didn't make out a lot of the celbs decorating the walls. Most are to old for me. The food was very enjoyable, the lobster bisque was velvet, while the lemon chicken very nice. My friend had a salad which was very ordinary, a dissapointment. I thought a very nice meal for the pice.

You know, it is what it is... a replica of LA's Brown Derby. I like the whole vibe and the food is great to boot. The location of the bathrooms are very inconvenient though. The Mallozzi Group always delivers a great product. In an area where there are not a whole lot of choices, this is a place to put on your list to try.

I was a guest and did not have to pay. The place seemed like a chain with lots of Brown Derby Hollywood paraphanealia around. Like what does any of it have to do with Albany NY? The food was OK but not much more than that. But no reason to return.
