Chef-owner Bud Deslatte brings "a taste of the South to the West Coast" with his "Cajunlicious" and Creole New Orleans fare, peddling "real-deal" gumbo, po' boys and jambalaya "with a genuine smile"; the Kearny Mesa industrial park location is "accommodating for a crowd", and though decor is "adequate" but "certainly not fancy", low prices match the basic digs.
