We really liked the atmosphere. Unfortunately we were placed right behind the door, where the AC blew its cold air directly in our neck and on the food, which got cold very very quickly. The steak was not really on the soft side and a bit chewy. The Hot Dog was quite nice, and the fennel of the top was delicous. But as also the duck liver mousse didn't taste like duck liver, more like pork liver, we think it is a nice place, but not more.

I really like the cozy atmosphere here and friendly service. It's great to go here and try the wine specials.
Charcuterie is my vice. Thus, I really enjoyed The Butcher Shop. As other restaurants typically have one or two of the classic meat preparations (terrines, pates, confit), this restaurant places it first. Wonderful restaurant for small portions and a glass of wine. Wine list was ok. My only problem was that while the pastrami sandwhich tasted oh so yummy, it was grilled too much in butter and therefore was extremely heavy and not for my taste.
Amazing meat! If only they accepted reservations...
