I absolutely love the atmosphere here and the back patio rocks when the weather is nice out. The Cuban-Mexican food is great too and its great to share plates with people to try a little of everything. The staff is very warm and passionate about the food and service and I would highly recommend Cafe 28 for a date. Not too hard to get to, right near Irving Park and Ravenswood.

The pork chop was tough.
The service was apathetic.
And despite the large portions, the prices seemed high considering the quality.

Really nice place. Good food. Nice place to have a good meal locally in the neighborhood.

I can't rave about this place enough. The service is phenomenal, and the owners are always around to greet you with a friendly hello. The food is fantastic, and the drinks top-notch.
