Unmistakeable, Elegant, Posh, and Classic. The only elegant restaurant on Newbury Street, where you can actually hear each other talk. Highly recommended.

Most of the Ritz staff was retained, same service and excellence you'd come to expect from Ritz is offered at the Taj. Brunch in the main restaurant is fantastic. We went there several times, and always go back for the crab cakes.

We visited them during restaurant week. I wish they put more heart in to a creative warm menu and not pre-baked push the entree.
