Takeout fried fish and french fries. The fish was burnt and oily fries limp and soaked in smelly oil.

Was surprised we didn't get a warmer "Bawlmer" welcome that I expected. Hostess made me feel like we were bothering her for a table. Food was not very good. Waited almost 45 minutes for sandwiches (reuben, BLT and grilled cheese). Cold fries, wrong sandwich (BLT had avocado on it and wasn't supposed to). Coke tasted like old-time Coca-Cola so it gets a 100! Prices were reasonable but won't be going back.

Come for the kitsch, not the food which is ho hum. we do love the old bay potato chips though.

A Baltimore must - Cafe Hon is a local legend! Get the Maryland classic, the crabcake sandwich, and save room for dessert.

Food is flavorful. Overpriced. Old school decor. One of the items I requested off the dinner menu was 86'd (not available).
