The seafood is good, the steaks are good, the Italian food is very disappointing, the bread is very disappointing, the desserts are good and the prices are very high. the decor is very nice and the service is good.
What a disappointment! There was no hostess at the stand, had to wait for a waiter to notice us. The bread had obviously been frozen, defrosted and heated. I asked for a different bread basket because 'it really doesn't taste right' the waiter happily took it away and brought more bread-10 minutes later, still freezer burnt. They hide the grated cheese from you and make you wait for some if you dare ask. Everything was average and not warm. NOPE!
This is a good Italian/Seafood place that has poor visibility. Owner/Chef Peter Mastrrioni never forgets a face, or your order. He can also put together a catering menu on short notice to fit any budget.Big screen TV but not a sport bar. Regulars come to Mastrioni's for the food and for Peter. Go try it and you may become a regular too.Closed Sunday.
