Wasn't thrilled or blown away with the food. Felt like an attempt at fancy Italian but in the end there was nothing I haven't seen before. Probably wouldn't go again.

Calo is pretty, the food is marvelous and the service is attentive. A bit busy on weekends, but a lovely addition to the Clark Street neighborhood. We live in Milwaukee and eat there several times a year.

This is a staple/anchor restaurant in the hip neighborhood, Andersonville. I go here a couple of times a month and it is consistently good. Not always knock your socks off/GREAT! But I know I will not send back the plate. They have had the same owner, Victor = Charming as ever. And, Olga, the BarTender will remember you even if you haven't been there in years. This is definetely worth a try if you are new to the neighbourhood. Eat Well.
