Excellant food, well prepared. The sides that come with the mains are well thought out and very well prepared. Wine list is Italian and domestic and quite complete and fairly priced.

The gnocchi is pretty good, but there is better to be had elsewhere in San Francisco. The braised short ribs are melt in your mouth delicious and highly recommended. The lobster is unfortunately not Maine lobster but rather rock lobster and not served with drawn butter, this is a rather forgettable dish and not something I'd order again. their oysters on the half shell however are very good.

It's a little tight in the small space, but cozy. The waiters and host welcome you like you're family, and will greet you with a glass of prosecco if you're lucky. Go when truffles are in season for their special treats.

Delicious quality food. Very nice atmosphere. All around a perfect Italian as good as anything you'll get in the real italy
