I have dined here since the opening and never had a dissapointing experience. The rooms do get loud, most restaurants do nowadays. The food, service and wine list have always been exceptional and the atmosphere is clubby. One of my top ten in Baltimore.
DISAPPOINTING from start to finish. Horribly overpriced and underserved. Waited 25 minutes before being seated despite having a reservation. Ambiance was just LOUD, so loud we couldn't converse at a table for four. Portions were insultingly small and priced as if they were desperate for their Inner Harbor rent money tonight. The sad and ironic thing is that we went simply based on high food rating on Zagat. NEVER would be too soon to try it again
The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fine. Unfortunately, this time was a disappointment, as the kitchen would not prepare the steak as well-done. When sent back, it came out poorly.
The quality of the food is consistently excellent, and we always ask for the same server, Mark, who cannot be beat. It's like he is a mind reader. My wife and I are convinced he is the best waiter on the East Coast.
always satiusfying...ditto for DC
