This place is to die for.

Our go to place for a Saturday night date. We love both the Chestnut Hill and Boston locations. The entry way and bars in both can be an absolute zoo but you're likely to get served by a friendly/attentive bartender. At the Chestnut Hill location, plan to wait at least 15 minutes beyond your reservation time to get seated - it seems like they either overbook or have poor planning. Once you do get seated, the food and service are excellent.

Travel to Boston a lot, go to the Capital Grill in Chestnut Hill at least once a month. It's like going home, great steaks like all locations, but add an attentive and friendly staff it just feels great! Don't need to write about the food, it's all good!

A great big steak house with prices and service to match. Steaks are prepared perfectly with attention to special requests. Accompaniments are meant to complement rather than compete with the steak. Very good wine list but often the better affordable wines are not available or from a different year. Chestnut Hill location is also a popular 'watering-hole' bar that often becomes quite boisterous and overflows into the eating areas.

This is a good meat joint. I have eaten in several locations around the country and they are all competent and keep a good quality. Do not expect a big surprise. Its standar fare
