I don't understand the negative reviews. I've been going to Capriccio regularly for several years and have never had a disappointing meal. The menu is quite varied, from excellent pizzas and pastas to well-prepared meat and poultry. It's an informal place, with a large, lively outdoor space (late Spring to early Autumn) with a lovely European feel. Gelati and pastries are great. Service can be a bit slow on busy nights, but always cordial.
You come here to sit outside and be seen. Food is very average. Service is extrememly brisk.
Between the sidewalk tables, the music, the menu and the "limoncello", I felt transported to Italy. Though not upscale, the food--from the salad to the gelato--was just delicious. An excellent meal at a good price.
Terrible across the board.
Great food with a wide array of choices, appetizers, pizzas, panninis, entree salads, pastas, main courses and desserts. A large constantly changing menu. However don't go for a quick lunch as the service, especially outside can be agonizing. always new inexperienced waitresses, but service aside a great place to hangout outside and enjoy an afternoon.
