The food was very unique especially in this little town. We reserved a table for four for the first time on opentable and was shocked that they actually had a talked for us on an extremely busy Friday night. The table side guacamole was absolutely amazing and fresh. They actually make it by hand from the avocado. We order a pitcher of peach sangria that was absolutely amazing and had right amount of alcohol content with a bit of fruity sweetness. The only let down was my skewered steak, which I asked it for medium well, but it turned out overdone.... It was extremely hard to chew. Should have sent it back. Overall, we enjoyed the night with lively music.

Food was better than decent with inventive dishes and some really nice flavors. Two of our dishes had some off notes. Like they were exposed to the grill or smoke for too long. Special peach sangria was just ok. Service was mixed. Waitress was great, but forgot a drink order. Busboy piled leftovers for take home with stuff to be tossed. Kind of unappetizing. All in all, I'll be back to try more.
We cant wait to go back! Overall, my favorite Mexican restaurant on Long Island. My husband's chicken tamale was excellent as was my sea bass atop sauteed spinach and potatoes with a sweet and spicy mango sauce. The plantains come with creme fraiche and white cheese...mmm.
I highly recommend the cucumber jalapeno margarita. To my surprise it was one of the best margaritas that I ever had.
excellent addition to farmingdale , a first class mexican eatery. Guacamole made at tableside was amazing. Great Sangria.
