Big dissappointment and will not be back. Appetizers were fine, my wife's prime rib was like eating a piece of rubber (one of their signature dishes) and the carrot cake desert was disgusting and should not have been served. When we complained about the desert to the waitress she told us to put it on the comment card. We didn't eat it and it should have been taken off the bill!

Carmen Anthony's is one of the BEST Restaurants in C.T. The Award Winning Potato Encrusted Crabcake and Chicken Carmen Anthony are excellent. 4 stars!!!

Hey Zagat, do you actually try the food? For a place to call itself a "Steakhouse" 1) know how to select the better quality meats and 2) how to cook them. My almost $40 Porterhouse was so grizzly, tough I had to send it back. I replace it with a filet which was tasteless. Guys, steak is supposed to be charred outside with a juicy interior. My filet tasted like an orthopaedic pad!

We sat in a front room that lacked in atmosphere, and it felt like we were packed in with the other people in the room. Not as nice as the other CA restaurants, but hey, it is Waterbury. Service was good, but when you go there for the steaks, you expect something special from your steak, which was not the case. It was good, yet not memorable. Special Valentines Day menu did not offer a strip steak, which was a disappointment.

Recently, we took my sister-in-law to CA's to celebrate a milestone birthday. The evening was fabulous as everything enjoyed their meals and socializing with each other in a private room. There was something for everyone on the menu! The plates of appetizers were awesome and quickly eaten. The only drawback is that we got charged for soda refills. Cheap Cheap Cheap on CA's part.Will we be back? Without a doubt!
