Had a great belated valentines meal in front of the fireplace. The appetizers (polenta with sausage and goat cheese and the shrimp gratin) were fantastic. The surf and turf was outstanding - all in all a great experience.

Great food in a great atmosphere. We arrived for our 5:30 reservation and were promptly seated and asked what we wanted to drink. We felt a bit rushed since we not even given a wine list yet and then especially again when our dinner was served, they brought everything at once; appetizer, salad AND entree! Realizing their error, service was very accommodating afterwards. Wonderful recovery; which is why I give this place a perfect score.

food was great! service was exceptioanal. host delivered me to my awaiting family as if he knew i was comming. waiter delivered a second 3lb lobster even though i thought first was good, just questioned the reduction. loved the grilled octipus, wife and kids enjoyed the fresh ravioli. no doggie bags here, the food is that good. service and great food is alive and kicking!

Had some of the best Italian food on Long Island, but where have all the customers gone? It may be time for a little freshening. Also, if you have to sit in the room opposite the bar - you may as well order to go.

I have been going to Casa Rustica for over 25 years. Consistently good authentic Italian food.
