May be because we've been in USA for almost 1-year, missing cheses, but this restaurant is one of the three best ones we've tried in USA. Sort of "sans façon" but very good food. The very French way to cook. Nice decor and extraoryservice.
This place has phenomenally fresh & tasty food, tremendous character, and very friendly service. A bit on the small side, but that just lends to it's character. Went there for the first time last weekend, and the very affable owner came up to us randomly to see how we liked things. Of course we told him we loved our food and he generously offered us some desert. We're going back this weekend.
If you love cheese, then this is the place to be. Excellent, excellent cheese dishes, and cheese is on everything -- including the beet salad, which is terrific. Many of the dishes are rather heavy, but some lighter fare can be found. Eat today; diet some other day!
Locavore foodie spot with a great rotating menu and excellent daily specials. As much food as possible is sourced from Connecticut and regional farmers. Cheese features in nearly every dish, though one daily soup is always vegan. Outstanding wine list, friendly atmosphere. Generous portions to match the large prices.
Delicious! Creative! Small portions! Large prices. I keep coming back because I remember the tasty lunches more than I remember the high bills. Very European in feel and presentation. It's a great place to take a date or a colleague. Don't come on a completely empty stomach. The staff are friendly and there is a small bar and outdoor seating area.
