Great neighborhood home cooked Italian food with friendly service. Comfortable and casual. Like to stop here before dropping guests off for their redeye flights to NY
Mixed results. After initial delight, a disappointing pasta dish; then much better. New owner(s) are friendly, engaging and eager to know you; maybe newness explains uneveness but things seem on the upward swing.
We recently discovered this little gem on Lincoln Boulevard. Have driven by every day but the word "Deli" on their sign (since removed) threw me off. They have wonderful, fresh pastas, salads and appetizers (the burrata and proscutto is incredible). Some nightly specials on a big chalkboard which I haven't tried yet. No liquor license and no corkage fee. Bring a bottle (or 2) of wine. Enjoy
good home style italian, not quite as nonna's, but they try
