I keep going back to the Chameleon because it is one of the clearest manifestations of love in the city of Baltimore. The curtains were made by hand, the meal is a family and community effort, and you can see the chef working in the herb garden around the restaurant during the day. The owners' philophy of superb, local, seasonal and sustainable food comes through in every detail and decision. The service is wonderful. Their meat is humanely raised. What's not to love?

Chef decides menu based on local fresh food he buys daily. Menu promotes the farmers he buys from. Saw my friend mentioned for the tomatoes used in the dish we bought. The food is fantastic, the kind you see made on the food challenge tv shows. Cutting edge incredible flavor. My husband was speechless with how great his meal was.
