Well I'm no food snob but I have been to all the top places in the city and to me the food is the most important thing. Chapeau deserves the 26 and I would rather go to Chapeau any day over Gary Danko. I had the 4 course and loved every bite which included the tomato bisque, scallop, bacon wrapped pork and chocolate cake. The Pinot recommended by the sommelier to accompany the pork was so delish. A perfect meal in a relaxed but very nice room with a mixed crowd; I wouldn't change a thing about Chapeau.

the food here is very good. I would recommend the filet mignon, the goat cheese appetizer, and the baked Alaska. Everything else though is also very good. The chef came out and welcomed us, made me feel very welcome. The service was good, but slow at the end, and our waitress forgot about my coffee after I asked twice already, plus the loud phone was ringing all night. But overall, the is really great authentic french food. I would recommend.

One of my favorites! Food is awesome as well as the service. The Chef usually makes his rounds at every table. Great place!

Reliable, well executed French classics. The early bird prix fixe is a steal at $28 for three courses.

One of my favorite restaurant. Portion is bigger than any french restaurants. Been here and the old location for more than dozen times!Everything always was above average or perfect!
