  • Got a roast beef sandwich and fries. Above typical fresh beef. Don't get me wrong, it's good food, just not blow your mind off amazing. The beef is not really seasoned, you need to make sure you put condiments on the sandwich. If you're in the Baltimore area, go here just to say you did.

  • The pit beef is very good, but I was disappointed in the amount of beef they put on their sandwiches. Most Baltimore pit beef places put a lot of beef on the sandwiches, but Chaps didn't measure up in that area.

  • We saw it on TV Food Network with Guy Fieri. It is a true dive with excellent pit beef, corned beef, turkey, etc. This is a "Balmer working guys" sandwich shack. We had the pit beef sandwich, the Guy's Triple D Sub - pit beef, corned beef, & sausage on a hoagy roll. Watched an NFL Game with a bunch of Ravens fans. Fries were great, portions huge, and there is no dress code. A very cool sandwich shop.
