Chelsea Brasserie

The worst overpriced meal I have had in years. No lunch menu, so we ordered soup and a salad. Service was poor, the food was worse. Plenty of staff around though nobody to serve you. After repeat requests, my friend%u2019s champagne was finally delivered after the food was on the table. We asked repeatedly for the second green salad we ordered. We were told it was on its way but it was never delivered but did appear on the bill. Perhaps we were meant to share the meager salad that was delivered. The crab bisque was seriously unappetizing and makes me queasy to think about. On my trip to the loo, there was a bucket and mop in the ladies loo area, the new remodel job in the stairway was shoddy, with the carpet coming up, and the plaster on the walls noticeably poor. Even paying was a hassle as my credit card, and that of the table next to me had to be processed twice.
