The food is actually very well done. I've had risotto, scallops, and crab there that was all perfectly cooked and flavorful. Wasn't inventive by any means, but good food I'd eat any day. The rest of the place is a different story. It feels like an outdated 90s steakhouse in need of a duster and a mop. Kitchen was a bit dark and dingy too. The service was attentive but a bit rude. Place could be very good with a little attention.
this place makes very good food and the service is great. the issue is their health dept ratings. tonight i had to leave because their rating is B and the score is 83. several critical ratings. this is solved by training and cleaning. fix it and ill gladly come back.
Lobster was well prepared. clam chowder "thick" and tasty as it should be. Service was slow, and inaccurate: I Ordered a cup of coffee, and got it after a short while but without spoon and sugar. I asked for them. and after 5 minutes of waiting the waiter brought the sugar, but forgot (again) about the spoon! I asked again. this time it took even longer time. the spoon arrived when the coffee was already cold... Poor slow service!
Good selection of fih and seafood, but it feels like a chain. The crab cakes and oysters are excellent
Pricy chain that caters to mall overflow at nights and the expense-account crowd at lunch. Crab cakes and ahi tuna are tasty enough, but are clearly derived from a corporate playbook that aims first not to offend the palate.
