Christopher Martins is one of New Havens best neighborhood pubs attracting more then just the local’s. The Live bands and fun bar crowd make the nightlife at Christopher Martins outstanding. For fine dining, Christopher Martins also offers a dining room for more intimate dining.The menu at Christopher Martins covers you basic pub food to gourmet cuisine for the upscale appetite. First things first: the asparagus and Portobello mushroom is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten anywhere. All of the food including the soup and the salad were absolutely delicious. 5 stars!

Pretty good food, average menu.

Great food and service. I had a fabulous chocolate martini that was worth every calorie and had a delicious, fresh, and light pear salad with tangy dressing served over fresh greens. This place is a little more expensive and little more grown up for State Street.
